Trinity Lutheran Church, Blackwell, OK, was founded in 1925 as an English-speaking Lutheran congregation of the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. And, since then, our congregation has worshiped the Triune God, who reveals Himself through the Incarnate Word and preached Word, receiving His gifts of forgiveness and salvation through His Word, Baptism, and the Lord’s Supper.
Our sanctuary dates to 1956, following the terrible tornadoes of May 25, 1955, which destroyed our previous church home. Thankfully, the altar and altar cross survived the storm and can be found in our new building to this day.
